Colony Club

Situated on Barbados' glorious Platinum Coast, the Colony Club Hotel is a luxurious and relaxing resort. There are a fantastic range of facilities on offer including tennis courts, a gym, a guest library with games and a computer, and hotel shops. The resort is located in a beautiful area on the beach front and with peaceful surroundings. The grounds are pretty and well-kept, full of palm trees and an array of exotic plants. You can take your pick of whether to top up you tan next to one of the hotel's four pools while sipping a cocktail or on the adjacent beaches golden sands. If you are feeling a bit more active, why not try your hand at one of the many water sports on offer at the hotel. If you want to explore the island, Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados, is roughly 20 minutes' drive away.

The Colony Club by Elegant Hotels sits next to the stunning white sandy beach, which is backed with palm trees and lapped by beautiful warm waters. For some non-beach activities on your holidays, St James offers horse riding, cricket and paragliding if you're feeling adventurous or why not do a spot of diving to explore the underwater caves and discover some of the fascinating marine life. You could try some deep-sea fishing or head to the capital of the island Bridgetown for a bit of retail therapy. The hotel offers 6 types of room, all of which are stylishly decorated, spacious, comfortable and have, large marble bathrooms, flat screen TVs with cable, private balcony or patio, iPod docking station and radio, telephone, air-conditioning, safe, iron and board, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

Eating and Drinking
The Laguna Restaurant is the main restaurant which serves fresh dishes in a traditionally designed and spacious surround. Both the Laguna and Sunset Bar serve drinks until late, with both offering a happy hour as well.

Guests can enjoy locally produced drinks from a number of hotel bars throughout the day including the Sunset Bar & Deck which serves drinks from 10 00 until 00 00.
There are motorised non-motorised water sports on offer as well as four freeform pools. Two floodlit tennis courts are also on-site. In the fitness centre you can enjoy your daily workout as well as yoga and pilates classes.
The seasonal Kids Corner is suitable for children aged from 3 12 years old.

The hotel has four lagoon' style freshwater swimming pools surrounded by loungers and numerous seating areas.
