The Vale Resort 4*Wales

From $154 / per person for 1 night
The Vale Resort is situated in the superb surroundings of rural Glamorgan. Nestled in 600 acres of beautiful countryside, it definitely doesn’t feel as though you’re just minutes from the M4. With two great golf courses, fantastic bedrooms and magnificent leisure facilities, The Vale Hotel guarantees you a top class service. With two championship golf courses on-site - the Lake Course & Wales National – The Vale is one of our most sought after golf break destinations.
Summary

The award winning Wales National Golf Course mixes up mature woodland, fearsome bunkers, tricky water features and USGA standard greens to make for a challenging round of golf. Alternatively, the well-established and aptly named par 72 Lake Course – which has staged numerous Wales and West PGA professional championships - is dominated by a 20-acre lake and has water coming into play on 12 of its holes.

The Lake Course:

Built before the hotel and Wales National course the Lake Course measures 6,436 yards, it certainly packs a punch. From the off, this par-72 course makes clear it’s not for the faint-hearted, with an opening par-three shot in full view, and striking distance of the hotel.

The Wales National Course:

A rare par 73 course that measures 7433 off the championship tees, the Wales National course is not to be underestimated. Opened in June 2003 by Great Britain Olympic gold medallist Sir Steve Redgrave, the Wales National Course has already played host to several European Challenge Tour and Senior Tour events, as well as the PGA Europro Tour.
